In order to welcome and commemorate the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day and the 6th Anniversary of LLDIKTI, LLDIKTI Region 4 held a Healthy Walk event for the academic community within LLDIKTI Region 4, which took place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the LLDIKTI Region IV Training Building in Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency. The theme of this event was “LLDIKTI 4 Memikat (Discovering Interests and Talents).”
This event was attended by all educational institutions within the LLDIKTI4 region. The series of events began with a fun walk attended by thousands of participants, followed by a lively Stand Up Comedy competition and a Balas Pantun competition. Additionally, there was a door prize drawing throughout the event until its closing. Widyatama University was represented by 15 delegates consisting of lecturers, teaching staff, foundation representatives, and rectorate leaders.
The fun walk, which was attended by around 1,800 participants from universities within the LLDIKTI Region IV, was followed by the presentation of the Pilmapres awards, as well as the finals and prize giving for all the winners of the LLDIKTI 4 Memikat 2023 competitions and contests, which ran from July to August 2023. In addition, an MoU was signed with the Tangerang Regency Government as a form of collaboration in supporting future regional development.
The Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., M.T., IPU., was present to give a speech. He expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the participants and all parties involved. He hoped that in the coming years, LLDIKTI Region IV could hold similar events again to support the development of the interests and talents of the academic community in higher education institutions within LLDIKTI Region IV as part of the implementation of the MBKM program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
