The classroom was also spacious, so we could express ourselves freely during the competition.” Sutan also shared his training tips for the speech competition: “I repeated my speech every two hours after school.” He hopes to continue improving his English skills and participate in other competitions. “My message for today is to never give up. Events like this can be held every year or even every week, as long as the training is solid and sportsmanship is maintained,” he added.
In line with Sutan, Sekar Rania Mufliha from SMAN 1 Cileunyi was also impressed by this event. “What’s certain is that it’s interesting. I rarely find offline activities like this at university. When I arrived, the venue was really well set up, so it was really nice and interesting, and the competitions were also interesting, such as storytelling, speech, and there are also rare vlog competitions. The speech and singing were really interesting, it made me want to try it,” she said. Sekar also shared her biggest challenge in the storytelling competition, which was memorizing the story and conveying the right emotions. “Hopefully, this can be a stepping stone for me to achieve more in the future and gain more experience for when I enter university. The event was really cool, everything was great, and I hope this event can continue in the coming years so that my younger siblings can also participate and have the opportunity to win,” she concluded.
