Bandung, September 8th, 2025 – Universitas Widyatama held a gathering and launching event for the 2026/2027 Academic Year New Student Recruitment Program (PMB) together with the Conference and Counseling Teachers Council (MGBK) of Bandung Raya. This event took place at the Universitas Widyatama Multipurpose Building (GSG) and was attended by hundreds of high school and vocational school guidance counselors (BK) from the Bandung Raya area.
Also present at the event were the Chairpersons of MGBK Bandung Raya, Chairperson of MGBK West Java Agus Sunarya, M.Pd., the leadership of the Universitas Widyatama Prof. Dr. Dadang Suganda, M.Hum., Vice Rectors, Directors, Deans, and Heads of Study Programs. The presence of educators and university leaders become an important moment in strengthening the synergy between secondary schools and higher education institutions. This event featured a number of key agenda items, including the awarding of outstanding schools and students, the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with 205 partner high schools and vocational schools, and the official launch of the 2026/2027 Academic Year New Student Admissions.
In his speech, the rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. Dadang Suganda, M.Hum., emphasized the importance of intensive communication and collaboration with guidance counselors as strategic partners in assisting students in deciding the right study choices. He also emphasized Widyatama University’s commitment to continuously provide quality in education, relevant to industry needs, and to opening up broader opportunities for cooperation.
Through this event Widyatama University hopes to strengthen the relationships, strengthen the educational cooperation networks, and provide comprehensive information about the study programs, facilities, and opportunities for self-development for students candidates.
