On January 19, 2008, Widyatama University (UTAMA) and Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL) signed an MOU regarding cooperation that had been agreed upon for the development of higher education based on a partnership of mutual need, mutual reinforcement, and mutual benefit between Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL) Malaysia and Widyatama University (UTAMA), Bandung Indonesia. From Widyatama University, the signing was attended by the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA, along with university officials, while from Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL), the signing was led by Naib Conselor Prof. Dato’ DR. Mohd Razali Agus along with Universiti Industri Selangor officials. The agreement covers the development of academic and non-academic activities for students, teaching staff, and administrative staff, as well as other relevant activities, including supporting cooperation programs with local governments in developing industry-based universities in Indonesia. During this brief visit, the UNISEL delegation took the opportunity to visit several educational facilities at Widyatama. The event concluded with the exchange of souvenirs between the two parties and a group photo.
