BASIS FOR SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE
West Java Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2008 concerning the West Java Provincial Budget for the 2008 Fiscal Year. West Java Governor’s Decree No. 910/Kep141-Dalprog/2008 concerning the approval of the West Java Provincial Budget for 2008 at the West Java Provincial Secretariat. West Java Governor’s Decree No. 900/Kep/262/Disdik/2008, concerning Social Assistance, Financial Assistance, and Grants for Educational Development Memorandum of Understanding between the West Java Provincial Government and State and Private Universities in West Java, concerning Cooperation in the Fields of Education, Training, Research, and Community Service.
REGULAR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT CRITERIA
West Java residents with good character, not involved in despicable acts or drugs. High school/vocational school students from underprivileged families (MA?). Average report card grades for semesters I-V of at least 7.0 and no grades below 6.5 in any subject. Achievements as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in competitions/ competitions for provincial kindergarten students, both academic and non-academic. Not currently receiving a similar scholarship from another source. Passed the academic selection process through PMDK and/or SNMPTN and the PTSI selection system. High school/vocational school diploma for graduates of TP 2006/2007 and 2007/2008.
REGULAR SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION PROCEDURE
A. Administrative selection:
Prospective scholarship recipients are nominated by their school principal with a letter of recommendation and the following requirements attached: ID card and family card as a resident of West Java. Letter of financial hardship from the RT/RW. Letter of good character, not involved in disgraceful acts or drugs from the relevant school principal. Photocopies of semester I-V report cards legalized by the principal. Photocopies of academic achievement certificates. B. Academic selection: Accepted as a PMDK student. Passed the selection through the SPMB or . Passed the selection at the relevant PTS.
