As a form of appreciation and concern for education, 95 Utama students received Student Learning Assistance (BBM) and Academic Achievement Improvement (PPA) scholarships.
Out of 150 applicants, 75 were selected to receive BBM scholarships and 20 out of 102 applicants for the 2008/2009 academic year. Head of the Student Affairs Bureau Taufik Rachim explained that these scholarships are given monthly in the amount of 250 thousand rupiah for one year. The BBM and PPA scholarships are awarded to students with academic achievements and who are active in student organizations.
Taufik added that every student can apply for this scholarship by filling out the application form provided by the Student Affairs Bureau and fulfilling all administrative requirements. Applicants will be selected by the Student Affairs Bureau based on their academic grades, administrative requirements, economic conditions/parents’ income, and activity in student organizations.
