Therefore, Widyatama University strives to continuously improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in accordance with the institution’s quality policy to produce graduates who are professional in the business and commerce sector and are expected to have entrepreneurial or competitive and adaptive employee competencies.

Mame added that the quality of higher education institutions can only be achieved through positive symbiosis between institutional components, teaching staff, and students. A similar sentiment was expressed by the Coordinator of Kopertis Region IV West Java and Banten, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hakim Halim, in his speech, “The era of globalization with its rapid changes and high level of competition requires the preparation of cadres who possess basic entrepreneurial skills. Furthermore, fast and accurate technology and information are very important in business and economic development.

Technology and information are the lifeblood of an organization and contribute significantly to improving organizational strategy,” he explained. It is not an exaggeration, said Abdul Hakim, that university alumni are expected not only to be able to help themselves in facing the increasingly sharp and complex challenges of the world of work, but also to participate in improving the nation’s competitiveness in the global labor market.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Prof. Dr. Hj. Koesbandijah A.K, S.E., M.S., Ak, emphasized in her speech that all graduates should contribute to society and begin their journey of service. Change is rapid, and we must adapt to it. In a world full of scientific advances and technological developments, we need creative, dynamic human resources who are reliable in terms of academic, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.

Human resources with such characteristics are what we believe you all possess, as you have successfully undergone academic, moral, and intellectual training at our beloved Widyatama University,” explained Koesbandijah.
