When a company has problems with product distribution management, it needs a system that regulates and manages how goods can be distributed as effectively and efficiently as possible. This is where universities can provide solutions through research conducted on companies so that it can be implemented into the company’s system.
The Industrial Engineering Study Program held a sharing and gathering event titled “Implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM) at PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk.” On Saturday (May 2), the event was held in the seminar room on the 4th floor. As the speaker, Mohammad Effendi, Supply Chain Director of PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk., explained how SCM is applied by the company across various product lines. This regular event organized by the Industrial Engineering Program serves as a platform for logistics industry practitioners to discuss and seek solutions to challenges they face, particularly those related to logistics.
