The Rector of Widyatama University (UTama), Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA., inaugurated the Commander of the UTama Student Regiment (Danki Menwa), Juviter Richmond Pardede, for the 2011-2012 term, on Tuesday (August 16), at the 6th floor of the Rectorate Building, during the inauguration ceremony led directly by the Rector.
“Receiving this mandate is a source of pride. I greatly appreciate the courage of the elected Danki Menwa (Richmond: ed.) to make unpopular decisions,” said the Rector in his speech. He hoped that the elected Danki would set an example and create new breakthroughs to advance the Menwa UTama organization, he added. This organization is expected to produce leaders with character, humility, and positive thinking. On this occasion, the Rector also urged students to actively participate in building Indonesia into a nation with integrity and character. As the elected Danki Menwa for the 2011-2012 term, Juviter Richmond Pardede (20) has a vision and mission to advance the Menwa organization, which had declined, and bring it back to its glory days. red**
