The entire academic community of Widyatama University congratulates the publication of the first edition of the “KOMUNITA” Bulletin as a Widyatama communication medium prepared to bridge communication between stakeholders and education providers as well as a source of information within the internal environment of the Widyatama University Campus. The Chair of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Prof. Dr. Hj. Koesbandijah Abdoel Kadir, M.S., Ak, welcomed and appreciated the idea of writing and publishing the “KOMUNITA” bulletin. The Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA, expressed his hope that “KOMUNITA” would not act as a mouthpiece, but rather as an educational and communicative forum that not only makes noise but also has substance.
The inaugural edition of August 2011, according to Editor-in-Chief Drs. Lili Irahali, is particularly significant. “KOMUNITA” raises the theme of “Education and Widyatama,” which is intended to convey Widyatama’s commitment to providing quality education in terms of facilities and infrastructure, human resources, teaching and learning processes, and graduates.
May this bulletin serve as a communication medium to get to know Widyatama University better, provide information on internal campus activities, and enhance the positive image of Widyatama University’s role and presence as one of the leading higher education institutions in Indonesia. red***
