Laughter filled the multipurpose building as dozens of staff, employees, and lecturers from Widyatama University participated in a motivational training session titled “Work Sincerely, Reap Abundant Rewards,” led by Pipin Sukandi, a trainer, motivator, and lecturer at the Faculty of Business & Management, last Saturday (October 8). The laughter grew even louder when five participants volunteered to be hypnotized, causing them to do silly things such as dancing to music without realizing it. “Be careful with our thoughts. If we think positively, positive things will happen, and vice versa, if we think negatively, negative things will happen,” said Pipin. Therefore, all activities must begin with prayer, a positive statement that will lead us to optimal results, he added.
This activity is part of a series of activities commemorating the second lustrum (10 years) of Widyatama University and 39 years of the Widyatama Foundation in an effort to improve the quality of human resources, including employees and lecturers. Puspitasari, a participant who is an accounting lecturer, admitted that she felt helped and motivated after attending this training. “(I) am very happy to participate in this event, getting to know my coworkers, especially the teamwork simulation session in front of the library that brought us closer together,” he added casually.
