Master’s, Accountant, Bachelor’s, and Diploma Graduation Ceremony for the First Batch of the 2011/2012 Academic Year

Widyatama University once again held its anniversary celebration at the Widyatama University Multipurpose Building. The event began with a procession by the Widyatama University Senate, followed by the official opening of the Widyatama University Senate Open Session by Rector Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA. In his speech, the Rector expressed his gratitude for God’s grace and guidance, allowing everyone to attend this very important event for the academic community under the auspices of the Widyatama Foundation. At the graduation ceremony for the first batch of the 2011/2012 academic year, 31 graduates from the Master’s and Accountant programs, 234 graduates from the Bachelor’s program, and 73 graduates from the Diploma Three program were inaugurated. Widyatama University, as a high-quality private university, is committed to producing graduates who have excellence, competitiveness, and are ready to thrive in the global community.

On this occasion, the Rector mentioned that starting in October 2011, Widyatama University was officially registered as a member of the IAU (International Association of Universities), a world association of higher education institutions under UNESCO. In 2011, a delegation of Widyatama lecturers will also compete in the 11th SEAAIR in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as well as international seminars in Australia and Italy. This international program is in line with the policy of the Director General of Higher Education to improve the quality of higher education institutions towards international standards by 2020, as well as to broaden horizons and provide more and better choices for students.
