On Monday (7/8), seven students from Widyatama University (UTama) flew to South Korea to participate in the Asian Summer Program. This special program will last for approximately three weeks, from July 8 to July 28.
Participants in this program come from various countries, with eleven countries participating this time (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia, China, the Philippines, Lithuania, the United States, Bangladesh, Japan, and the host country, Korea). It is estimated that around 400 participants from these various countries are participating in this program.
UTama students are taking three courses, namely Innovation and Economy, Sufficiency Economy, and Fundamentals of Speech. The impressions of UTama students regarding this program include being able to exchange knowledge with students from other countries, further exploring their English language skills, becoming more disciplined, independent, and confident, and most importantly, feeling proud and grateful to be studying at Widyatama University, which has given them this golden opportunity.
According to Mrs. Firly Istianti Savitri, S.Psi., M.M., as the accompanying lecturer, “We will arrive back home on July 29. Please pray for our safe return without any mishaps.” Amen.
