On Saturday (January 25), Widyatama University (UTama) welcomed a visit from SMAN 24 Bandung. The group arrived at around 12:00 p.m. at the Widyatama parking lot and was welcomed by the Marketing Bureau Public Relations team. The group was led by Mrs. Dra. Teni Kestiani, Coordinator of Guidance Counselors and Chair of Visitation & TRY OUT SMAN 24 Bandung, who brought around 10 guidance counselors and 170 students.
The event began with a speech from the Head of the Marketing Bureau, Mrs. Devy M. Puspitasari, S.E., M.M., followed by a speech from the Guidance Counselor of SMAN 24 Bandung, Mrs. Dra. Teni Kestiani. The next event was a TRY OUT simulation for the National Examination, which was conducted by the Marketing Bureau team to provide training for SMAN 24 Bandung so that they would be ready for the National Examination. The purpose of the group’s visit to UTama was to provide high school graduates with an understanding of higher education. This is because high school graduates do not yet know which university they will attend after graduating from high school and what major they will choose when they go to college. In addition to providing this understanding, the visit was also used as a means to provide more detailed information about Widyatama University.
At the end of the event, the Head of the Bureau presented merchandise and souvenirs to the group and held a photo session to foster familiarity and good relations between the two institutions.
