Gathering

Bandung (October 8, 2014), Widyatama University held a gathering with high school principals and guidance counselors from across Bandung at the Widyatama University Seminar Building. This event aimed to strengthen relationships and provide information on the 2015/2016 Academic Year New Student Admissions to SMA/K/MA in the city of Bandung. According to the previous academic year’s PMB Marketing Bureau analysis data, affiliated SMA schools are the largest suppliers of new students.

This gathering is also part of the Marketing Bureau’s work program to strengthen relationships between institutions so that universities and schools can work together synergistically. In addition, this gathering is part of a series of events for the Widyatama University Foundation’s anniversary, which will be held from October 2014 to January 2015.

The Marketing Bureau opened a forum for requests for appreciation in the form of items that support the learning process in schools in accordance with the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) as a form of our concern for the field of education. The Marketing Bureau also continues to strive to help school facilities to support the smooth running of the educational process in accordance with the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi as a form of our appreciation.

“I really appreciate this meeting between school principals and guidance counselors, because it is not only a gathering with the university, but also a meeting with colleagues from different schools,” said Ali, Principal of SMA NEGERI 17 BANDUNG.

Positive responses were also expressed by teachers and school principals regarding the gathering. They became more informative when explaining about Widyatama University to their students. The most important aspect of this activity was that teachers could directly observe the facilities and educational quality at Widyatama University.
