Graphic Design Discussion
Bandung (November 6, 2014), Widyatama University, specifically the Faculty of Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design D4 Study Program, held a Graphic Design Discussion Forum in Greater Bandung. The event was held in the Graha Widyatama Meeting Room. The forum was attended by the Dean and Vice Dean of Widyatama University, the Head of the Graphic Design Study Program, and several representatives from universities related to the Graphic Design Study Program. Among them were DKV-ITB, Maranatha Christian University, SCIS Telkom, ITHB, and other universities that have DKV or Graphic Design study programs.
Forum diskusi ini berjalan dengan penuh rangkaian tema pembicaraan, salah satu topik yang sangat vital untuk dibicarakan yaitu diskusi mengenai Kurrikullum Desain Grafis khususnya di Kota Bandung. Adanya Benchmarking kurikullum untuk Program Studi Desain Grafis ini merupakan point sangat penting. Bukti “keremajaan” kurikullum sehingga FDKV berjalan sesuai dengan berkembangnya zaman.
Graphic Design Discussion Forum
With the alignment of the curriculum, students also gain consistency between one university and another. The support of excellent facilities also reflects that Widyatama University and its graduates can compete with graduates from other graphic design and visual communication faculties. The discussion forum on the curriculum is still ongoing and will be held again on Friday, November 14, 2014.
