Visit and TOEFL at Pasundan 2 High School, Bandung

The purpose of the group’s visit to UTama was to provide high school graduates and their equivalents with an understanding of higher education. This is because high school graduates do not yet know which university they will attend after graduating from high school and what major they will choose when they go to college. In addition to providing this understanding, the visit was used as a means to provide more detailed information about Widyatama University. At the end of the event, the Head of the Bureau presented merchandise and souvenirs to the group and held a photo session to foster familiarity and good relations between the two institutions.

On Wednesday (27/1), Widyatama University (UTama) received a visit from Pasundan 2 High School in Bandung. The group arrived at around 8:30 a.m. at the Widyatama parking lot and was welcomed by the Marketing Bureau and Marketing Crew. The group was led by Mrs. Dian, the Coordinator of BK SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung, and representative teachers from the school. SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung brought around 123 students from several departments, including natural sciences and social sciences.

The event began with a speech from the Head of the Marketing Bureau, Mr. Eddy Witono, A.Md, followed by a speech from Mrs. Dian as the Coordinator of SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung. The event then continued with the TOEFL test, which was held in the Seminar A Building on the 4th floor of Widyatama University. This had many benefits for the school, especially the students, as it provided hard skills training for Pasundan 2 Senior High School Bandung so that the TOEFL certificate could be used in the workplace when applying for jobs.
