Wednesday (22/2) Universitas Widyatama (UTama), through its Faculty of Languages (English Study Program), once again invited the best students in the West Java region to participate in the annual English Festival Got Talent with the tagline “Get Your Golden Buzzer”.
This lively event was filled with enthusiasm from participants who came from various cities in West Java. A total of 135 participants from 37 schools in Bandung, Soreang, Purwakarta, Cileunyi, and Garut joined the competition.
The competition was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages, Dr. Hero Gunawan, M.Pd., with the striking of a gong to symbolize the start of the competition. The English Festival Got Talent featured several categories, including: Writing Competition, Speech Competition, Singing Competition, Movie Parody, and News Reporting. The competition was very intense, with each participant competing in a sportsmanlike manner and showing mutual respect for one another.
The English Festival Got Talent event closed with the announcement of the winners and performances by several acts, including Adam Son, White Alice (a band from Universitas Widyatama), and Sarah Idol.
