Good news!

Starting in the 2017 academic year, Widyatama University’s Japanese Language Undergraduate Program has been launched with an up-to-date curriculum tailored to market needs, so that graduates are ready to take on various challenges in the world of work. The good and synergistic bilateral relationship between Japan and Indonesia will be further strengthened if more Japanese language users not only have language skills, but also understand Japanese culture and ways of thinking. Therefore, the Japanese Language Undergraduate Program at UTama is committed to contributing to the development of the nation through Japanese language education that is rich in cultural content, while still focusing on business.

This program is open not only to regular high school/vocational school/Islamic high school graduates, but also to D-III alumni who wish to continue to the Bachelor’s degree (S1) level, as well as employees who have limited time.

Unique Features

  • Business concentration; students are guided to be able to immediately enter the business world. Students are equipped with courses that are directly related to the business world, such as oral translation, written translation, knowledge of business ethics with Japanese people/companies, etc. In addition, animation courses are also available to support student interests.
  • 3+1 program, which is 3 years of taking credits in the study program, 1 year in Japan. *optional.
  • With the collaboration with schools in Japan, students are given the opportunity to take credits in Japan and convert them when they return to their homeland.
  • The lecturers who teach are academic and practitioner teaching staff, who have a master’s/doctoral degree, and are JLPT N2/N1 certified.

Facilities

All facilities, such as seminar rooms, theaters, food courts, toilets, etc., are well-organized and clean. Classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors, complete digital labs, and a comfortable Loka Library.

Special Promo Program

  • UTama D-III graduates are exempt from entrance exams (Reg A&Reg B)
  • For UTama D-III graduates who immediately continue to the S1 level within 1 year after graduation, there is no development fee (Reg A).
  • For UTama D-III graduates who wish to continue to the S1 level in Reg B, they will receive a 50% discount on the development fee. (Reg B)

Note

All D-III graduates wishing to continue to the S1 level must attach their D-III graduation certificate and transcript. If these are not available, they must enroll in regular classes starting from the first semester.
