Universitas Widyatama (UTama) once again received assistance for 10 new students from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education through the 2017 Bidikmisi Scholarship program. A series of selection processes were carried out by the Widyatama University Student Affairs Bureau as the executor appointed by the Rector. The information dissemination process was carried out by visiting more than 50 high schools/vocational schools/Islamic high schools in West Java as well as through several media outlets owned by Universitas Widyatama.
Of the 77 high school students who registered online, 33 of them took the written exam and also participated in interviews. The written exam was held in a classroom on the 1st floor of Building K at Widyatama University, while the interviews were held in the Dean’s Office on Friday (4/8).
In the next stage, the implementation team from the Universitas Widyatama Student Affairs Bureau will collect data by conducting a survey of the residences of prospective scholarship recipients, which is one of the absolute requirements for the Bidikmisi Scholarship. The final selection results will be announced on August 21st, 2017. Ten Bidikmisi scholarship recipients will be accepted by two people each in the following Widyatama Study Programs:
