Widyatama University Prepares Students for ITB Fine Arts Selection

The State University Entrance Selection is fast approaching, and 12th grade students are preparing themselves to be accepted into their dream universities. This is no exception for those interested in the ITB Fine Arts Study Program, which is experiencing an increase in popularity every year, meaning that applicants must prepare themselves as thoroughly as possible. To facilitate this, Widyatama University, in collaboration with Bimbel Seni Rupa (SR104), held a tryout for the new student selection process for the Fine Arts Study Program at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on Sunday (11/2). Held in the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of Building A at Widyatama University, nearly 100 people attended as participants. This activity is intended to provide participants with preparation before entering the actual selection process at ITB.

The event began with a speech from the Dean of the Widyatama Faculty of Visual Communication Design, Dr. Anne Nurfarina, S.Sn., M.Sn, who was also present at the event. This was followed by a speech and technical presentation on the tryouts from SR 104 Tutoring, Mr. Aris. The tryouts themselves lasted approximately 120 minutes and were divided into two selection stages. This event is an annual event that has been held since 2013. During the event, participants were treated to a gallery exhibition of the works of students from the Faculty of Visual Communication Design at Widyatama University.

The Faculty of Visual Communication Design at Widyatama University offers Graphic Design and Multimedia Study Programs. FDKV Widyatama is supervised by permanent lecturers who are alumni of FSRD ITB who have completed Master’s and Doctoral programs and are active as practitioners/professionals in the DKV industry so that students at Widyatama University not only gain theoretical knowledge but also absorb the latest experiences from the highly dynamic professional world.
