Comparative Study of the Faculty of Economics, Hindu University of Bali

On Friday (7/20), the Faculty of Economics (FE) and the Faculty of Business Management (FBM) of Universitas Widyatama welcomed a group of guests from the Faculty of Economics of Hindu University (UNHI) Bali. The event, which was held in the Meeting Room of the Rectorate Building on the 1st floor, began at 9:15 a.m. and ended at 12:00 p.m.

The group of 28 people from the UNHI Rectorate and FE lecturers was welcomed directly by the Dean of FE Widyatama, R. Wedi Rusmawan K, DR., S.E., M.Si., Ak, CA and the Dean of FBM Widyatama, Dr. Deden Sutisna, M.N., S.E., M.Si. The event began with a speech by Dr. Deden Sutisna, M.N., S.E., M.Si., who introduced the structure of FE and FMB Widyatama, followed by speeches from the Dean and Vice Rector of UNHI and the Vice Rector of Human Resources of Universitas Widyatama, Dr. H. Nuryaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. Meanwhile, the group of 200 UNHI students was directed to the Widyatama Auditorium Building (GSG), where they were welcomed by the FE Senate and FBM Widyatama Senate.

The Second Faculty Leaders of the University discussed the recruitment system and functional promotion applied at Universitas Widyatama through seven parameters. Widyatama lecturers with below-average Academic Performance Index (IKAD) were summoned and given motivation to improve the quality of education at Widyatama.

Dr. Deden and Dr. Wedi revealed that the faculties at Widyatama have their own characteristics in graduating students. FE graduates are equipped with tax brevet certification and CPA (Audit) tests, while FBM graduates are equipped with MICE, Office Management and Taxation certifications.

To support the learning process, both faculties at Widyatama have business and accounting incubators. The Faculty of Business Management has a business incubator called Business Community Development (BCD) as a forum and practice laboratory for students who are ready to start a business and an Investment Gallery as a means for students to learn about and practice directly on the stock exchange. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Economics has incubators called Tax Center and Quantum.

The delegation from UNHI was then taken to tour the facilities and infrastructure at the Faculty of Economics and Business Management, Business Community Development, the Student Activity Center Building, and the Pustakaloka Building. The event concluded with a group photo at the Mainhall Plaza of Widyatama.
