“It is hoped that with the implementation of vaccines for students, all Widyatama University students will be more prepared to attend lectures that will be held on our campus in a HYBRID format, namely face-to-face and online,” she added.

Ratna further explained that the mass vaccination event was made possible thanks to the collaboration between LP2M UTama, Skomenwa Mahawarman, and Kesdam III Siliwangi, who served as the organizing committee.

Ucu Nugraha, S.T., M.Kom. Head of Research and Community Service, added that the vaccination was carried out by health workers from Sariningsih Hospital and Dharma Bhakti Husada.

Ucu also explained that the mass vaccination was also part of the duties and functions of LP2M as an institution that carries out community service activities, one of the three pillars of higher education.

“Alhamdulillah, the activity went well. Hopefully, what LP2M UTama has done will benefit students and the community. We are also trying to help the government as much as possible so that herd immunity can be achieved by the end of 2021,” he concluded.
