Based on the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT No. 1544/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/S/IV/2023, the English Study Program at Widyatama University has achieved an “A” accreditation rating, valid for the period 2022-2027.
The National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) is an official accreditation institution authorized by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
Accreditation in higher education is a form of institutional quality assessment ranging from universities, institutes, colleges, to academies. Simply put, accreditation can also be interpreted as a measure of a university’s quality. Higher education accreditation is conducted so that the public is aware of the quality of education offered by educational institutions, which are considered the best choices.
In the middle of fierce competition, the English Bachelor Degree Study Program at Widyatama University has successfully maintained its “A” accreditation since 2017. This accreditation result indicates that the English Language Study Program at Widyatama University guarantees the quality and career opportunities of its graduates.
