Bandung, October 16, 2025 — Universitas Widyatama held a professor inauguration ceremony and scientific oration, which was an important moment in the academic world of the campus. The event was held on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, at the Seminar Room on the 6th floor of Building B, Widyatama University.
Prof. Dr. Keni Kaniawati, S.E., M.Si. was officially inaugurated as a permanent Professor at Universitas Widyatama. This inauguration was held as a form of appreciation for her contributions in the field of management science, as well as to mark her highest academic achievement.
As part of the event, Prof. Keni delivered a scientific oration with the title:
“The Transformation of Digital Marketing Strategy as an Accelerator of Competitiveness and Sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Digital Economy Era.”
This speech discussed the important role of digital strategy in enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as how digital-based marketing innovations can promote business sustainability in the middle of modern economic challenges.

In an interview, Prof. Keni said:
“As a lecturer, I have an obligation to produce scientific articles that are indexed by Scopus. What is most important is not only Q1 to Q4, but also the SJR (SCImago Journal Rank) of the journal, whether it is SJR 1, 2, or 3. This is one form of implementing the results of research and community service, which must ultimately be implemented in the form of scientific journal articles.”
