The Dean of FIB UTama, Dr. Hendar, explained in his speech that today’s collaborative activity with FIB Unud originated from his visit with the Rector of UTama to FIB Unud in November 2023.

“We are very grateful that today we can collaborate with FIB Unud. This collaboration began with a visit by the Rector of UTama and us to FIB Unud last November. At that time, we discussed various potential collaborations, such as MBKM and student exchanges. We are very pleased that FIB Unud is willing to accept our collaboration proposal,” said Dr. Hendar.

The Vice Rector for Research, Community Service, Innovation, and Cooperation at UTama, Dr. Didit, advised his students to use this public lecture as a platform to broaden their knowledge.

“This public lecture, as part of the implementation of this collaboration, will certainly provide us all with broader knowledge. We must learn a lot, and this is one of the forums for that. As academics, we should participate more in academic forums like this,” said Dr. Didit.

Before the public lecture was held, the event began with a discussion to explore the potential for other collaborations between FIB Unud and FIB UTama.

During the discussion between the Dean of FIB UTama and his staff and the Vice Dean of FIB Unud and his team, both parties exchanged ideas about other activities that could be carried out, some of which were related to the journals owned by their respective study programs. Both parties agreed to collaborate in managing their respective journals, both as contributors and reviewers.

In addition, the discussion also touched on the potential for lecturer and student exchanges. Student exchanges could be carried out through the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka or Independent Learning, Independent Campus) scheme, while lecturer exchanges could be carried out through online learning activities.

After the discussion, the event continued with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Arrangement (IA) between FIB Unud and FIB UTama. On this occasion, the Deputy Dean of FIB Unud symbolically represented the Dean of FIB Unud in the ceremonial signing of the agreement.

Both parties also exchanged souvenirs after signing the PKS and IA. (nm)
