Bandung., June 20TH, 2024 –
This Thursday marks a historic day for the world of educational publishing in Indonesia. UTamaPress, under the auspices of LPAP-Widyatama, chaired by Farisa Hasnanto, S.Ip., M.M., dedicated to supporting the improvement of education quality, was officially launched with the introduction of its first book entitled “Leadership Approaches Towards Classy Private Universities”. The launch and inauguration of UTamaPress took place at Pustakaloka Lt. 3, Widyatama University.
The event was attended by a number of important figures in the world of education, Prof. Dr. Purwadhi, M.Pd. (Chair of Pergubi Jabar and Rector of ARS University), Prof. Dr. A. Rohendi, M.M. (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at ARS University), Dr. Rian Andriani, M.M. (Head of the Master of Management Program at ARS University), Prof. Dr. Endang Komara, M.Si. (Rector of UNINUS and Member of Pergubi DPD Jabar), Prof. Dr. Imas Rosidawati, M.H. (Lecturer at Unla and Member of the West Java Regional Chapter of the Indonesian Association of University Rectors), Drs. H. Lili Irahali, M.M., B.A., ODCP (Chief Press Coordinator) along with the leadership of the Widyatana Foundation and University, including academics and education practitioners.

The Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Suganda, M.Hum., gave an opening speech in which he expressed his appreciation for the presence of UTamaPress. “We are very proud to witness the birth of UTamaPress, which is expected to make a significant contribution to the world of education in Indonesia,” he said.

The launch of the book “Leadership Approaches Towards Classy Private Universities” was the main highlight of this event. The book offers an in-depth look at various leadership strategies and approaches that can help private universities improve their quality and competitiveness.
In addition to presentations and book reviews, the event also featured a panel discussion moderated by Ismail Solihin, S.E., M.Si., with several speakers from academia and education practitioners. The discussion addressed various challenges faced by private universities in Indonesia and how effective leadership can have a positive impact on improving the quality of education.
