WIDYATAMA STUDENT’S MOVIE HITS NATIONAL STAGE AND ACQUIRED BY BRIN

Universitas Widyatama has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level. A documentary film produced by students from the Film and Television (FTV) Study Program has been acquired by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). This proud announcement was made during the screening of the film “Cinema Wonderland 2025” held on campus on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025.

This achievement marks a new milestone for the FTV program and Universitas Widyatama. The Head of the FTV Study Program, Kenmada Widjajanto, S.Sos., M.IKom., stated that the acquisition by BRIN is a recognition of national quality achieved through a very strict curation process. This achievement, coupled with three other awards in different competitions, proves that the quality of education at Widyatama is capable of producing young filmmakers whose work is widely recognized.
